Using a mild soap, begin washing the area aroung the anus and vulva carefully using your knuckles to "scrub" the area and remove debris. Wash out from the area 12 inches in all directions.
Carefully rinse the area starting from the middle-top area taking care not to introduce water into the lips of the vulva. (A hose with warm water is shown here, wet cotton can also be used to rinse the area.)
Repeat steps 3 & 4 two more times.
Dry the area starting with the anus and vulva and moving out. (Paper towels or dry cotton can be used (be sure that cotton fibers don't stick to the vuvlva)
