In this image the anterior vagina is cut open. You should be able to identify the:

1. Anterior Vagina Surface
2. External Cervical Os
3. Fornix of the Vagina

Note that the anterior vagina inner surface has folds in it. When the penis enters the vagina during mating or you put your arm/hand into the vagina during artficial insemination or a vaginal exam, the folds allow the vagina to elongate.
