Early Pregnancy Loss

There is a 10-12% loss of pregnancy between days 14 and 60. Detection of pregnancy at day 14, 30 and then between days 40-60 can assure that no early embryonic death has occured. Factors which cause early embryonic death can be extrinsic (environmental) or intrinsic (having to do with the mare).
