Links on this page are to outlines, powerpoint presentations (ppt), a pdf handout with 6 slides/page, podcasts, and other files as needed. The year a file was created is indicated by a 2 digit number at the end of the link, for example, a 13 indicates it was created in 2013. This is not important for the UW students but only the instructor or if accessed by someone not taking the offical UW course. When present, most files either open in your bowser or download to your computer with the exception of podcast files (see instructions for playing a podcasts). It is best if you view ppt files iin the powerpoint application, pdf in a pdf viewer, and Quicktime player for podcasts (again read instructions for podcasts do not just click on the link). Some of the powerpoint files may have images that are Macintosh only viewable, however podcasts are viewable on Macintosh or PC computers. The problem with powerpoint files and PC compatibility may be particularly true in the first 10 presentations. If you run into some of these, simply use a Macintosh computer in one of the on campus computer labs. The PPT slides handout is a PDF and will print the handounts with 6 slides/page and should work on any computer system. Links to previous years powerpoints/podcasts.
