A new course was offered in Spring 2003 entitled "Career Orientation in Animal and Poultry Sciences." Enrollees were Freshmen, Sophomores or Juniors. The course was designed to acquaint students with types of careers that have been chosen by B.S. graduates from this department. Numerous alumni of the department were invited to describe their career paths and answer questions. At the conclusion of the course, students were asked to answer the question 'what can I do with an Animal Science degree?' Essays have been chosen to provide a variety of perspectives.
