Progesterone: Pregnancy

Progesterone levels remain high through gestation. Testing progesterone levels at 19-24 days after insemination will indicate pregnancy if the progesterone level is high. However, because of embryonic mortality and other reproductive disorders, confirmation of pregnancy by palpation is required.
