	Foaling observers
	Placenta - it is complete and no tears except where the foal was born.
	Colostrum testing consiting of colostrum sample, test kit (company web site) with test cassette (diluted sample is added to S well), after 20 minutes a single line at C and no line at T indicates sample is >50 mg/ml of IgG and mare has adequate levels of IgG in her colostrum
	IgG test (Company website) of foal blood to ensure transfer of IgG in colostrum was sufficient was done at 2:00 PM on 2/20/07(17 hr from foaling). The test cassette at the bottom indicates that there is at least 8 mg/ml of IgG in the foal's blood which is indicative of adequate IgG transfer.
	Enema (Fleet) given at 1:30 PM on 2/20/07 due to foal straining.
	Foal nursing 2/20/07 1 day of age.
3/15/07	Puss found coming from navel. Treament is 25,000 Units Penicillin G/ Kilo, weight taped to be 105 kilos. Foal given 8.9 ml of Penicillin G IM. Will repeat at same dose 1X/day for 5 days as to be determined.
